Althea Harper stopped by with her Fall 2010 line. Althea showed her ability to step out of norm and truly design a line that was unique and creative. We loved the women's long sport coat. A perfect blend of colors for a cool summer night. We'll post her link below. Fall pre-orders begin now!

Summer in the City
Summer is here. Temperatures have been in the high 80's and low 90's and not budging. What to wear in this heat and not look like you just got out of high school (meaning basketball shorts and cut-off t-shirts): cotton plaid shorts, white keds, and a light weight shirt. Our friends at A.P.C make wonderful shirts and are having their summer sale (supplies will go quick!) I have posted the link below.

Men's 2011 Spring Shows
It's 10:00 in the morning here in New York, but across the pond men's shows are already taking place. For some reason, our ticket got lost in the mail (how odd..) and we were unable to attend. However, 21st century technology (yes, including the sacred IPhone) puts you right next to the likes of Anna Wintour and Scott Schuman. Burberry (streaming now), Gucci, Emporio Armani, and Giorgio Armani will all stream their shows live. I've linked GQ's Twitter account at the bottom of the page.
Notable Shows:
Saturday, June 19th
Dolce and Gabbana
Calvin Klein Collection
Versace
John Varvatos
Check with Gentleman's Quarterly throughout the day to keep up-to-date with all of the runway photographs. Next year, we will bring it to you instead (as long as our ticket makes it).

How we wish....
If we could be anywhere in the world right now, it would be Florence, Italy. Spring 2011 shows are set for this week/weekend and no one carries more coverage (for the men's side) than Gentleman's Quarterly. We've linked Tommy Ton's page below. Keep up to date for all of the men's lines set to debut on their site Saturday.

Brush Factory
The Brush Factory had a wonderful display of men's trousers and their custom two-pocket shirt. Each of their trousers are custom made to fit you and won't break the bank. Even better; take your fabric to the shop and they will work their magic. We'll post more photographs later this weekend.

OTR Festivals
I recently attended an event on Vine Street. Below are some of the photographs.
We really liked these men's boots. They look extremely comfortable (which many tend to ignore) and the beautiful wig-tip toe gives this boot plenty of character. Pairing these with white summer jeans or khaki's works great, even in the middle of the summer. Make sure you hold on to these for the fall. A good cardigan with a plaid button-up wouldn't hurt either.

Without further ado.
Unfortunately, I have still not upgraded to the DSLR cameras. There is something true and original about film that keeps my Nikon N65 busy. However, tomorrow is the DAAP Fashion show at the University of Cincinnati. I will be posting many photographs (once the film is developed) as of Saturday afternoon.
